These statues are inspired from the archeologic artifacts of Old Europe depicting the Pregnant Vegetation mother Goddess, the Mother Earrth, Gaia.

If the representations of the Snake or Bird Goddesses, symbols of Water and Air, are usually gracile and elongated, with the flowing long lines of the bodies of animals that are required to move swiftly, the representation of the Divine feminine as the Earth elements is  the representation of solidity, of stability, of fertility and fecundation. Her feminine attributes (breasts, buttocks) are generally enhanced, and sometimes her exposed large belly bears the lozenge-within-lozenge symbol of pregnancy. She holds her hands either on her breasts, on her belly or simply on her knees, in the calm waiting for the life within her to sprout to light.

She often has "animal-mother" attributes, and on many of the artifacts discovered she bears either a zoomorphic mask, or has attributes of the animals that  the paleolithic and neolithic human was seeing as symbols of motherhood: the bear, the sow, the hedgehog, the the doe. Sometimes the seated pregnant Goddess rests her hands on the heads or bodies of animals laying beside her.

Each of these Goddess statues is  created in sacred space, and carries inside her various gems, crystals or plants and plant seeds, and has a "patina finish", that makes them look like an ancient artifact.

This ancient pregnant Mother Earth is inspired from the late paleolithic and early neolithic "pregnant goddesses" figurines unearthed by archeologists. She has a finish of "ancient patina", making her look like a freshly unearthed archeological relic. Her womb is filled with various seeds and grains, and she is consecrated to help with bringing fertility and wealth in your life
